The role
We are looking for a Senior Front-End engineer to join our dynamic team and bring our client applications to life. You should be a passionate, enthusiastic individual, be highly motivated and willing to dive right into various projects. You’ll be collaboratively working with a well-established UX and Front-End delivery team across the full software development life cycle in a fast-agile environment. This role has excellent career progression opportunities in the future as the Company grows.

Job requirements
What you do
Work with UX Designers to ensure the products meet the standards the end user is looking for.
Translate requirements into elegant, scalable software solutions
Work closely with Backend developers on solutions.
Write maintainable, robust code, with test coverage all to best practises
Optimise web pages for maximum speed, scalability and security
Maintain existing code bases and further develop to enhance the offering to customers
Develop high-quality, responsive layouts with the user in mind
Input in the global CSS style framework to be used across all applications
Work in an agile, collaborative, multidisciplinary team
Required skills
Excellent JavaScript skills with good knowledge of Vanilla.js, Node.js, & React.js
Strong CSS compiler experience
Experience with web components
Experience with 11ty/SSGs (static site generators)
Experience with TDD/testing
A good understanding of progressive enhancement & accessibility
An understanding of lighthouse metrics and general frontend performance and optimization
Collaborate with other team members and higher management team
GIT Version Control knowledge
